Like you, moving home was a massive deal for us. The prospect of change excited us; upgrading our house, looking out on new horizons, meeting people, having a safe and beautiful environment to bring up our children. Moving isn’t a trip to the supermarket. To be sure our move held no nasty surprises, we had to answer questions. Would we love the area? Would it suit our lifestyle, our commitments and our longer term projects? Would the location give us a sense of belonging? We knew it wouldn’t be easy. Moving takes time, money, and we all know it takes effort. We thought the internet would speed up our search, save us money and make our efforts more fruitful. Wrong!

It meant signing up for a bruising, and sometimes bitter campaign. One that took months of frustration and led us to multiple dead ends. One which either ended in wasted visits when we realised the area just wasn’t right for us. Or frustration and disappointment when googling the area and facilities took so long, that someone else had already sniffed out and snapped up our potentially ideal property. Although we eventually found our dream home, our abiding thought on finding a property was so negative it is actually unprintable! Property searching was something we never wanted to have anything to do with again. Until we realised that we had endured months of misery for a reason.

It was our call to action.

Armed with personal experience and a desire to offer a service that minimises the time, expense and frustrations of moving, we had direction. The best way to learn is from the experience of role models. For months, we studied the best sites in Europe and beyond. We mirrored then tailored their qualities to suit Ireland. We fine-tuned tried and tested features to ensure our clients could make informed decisions without even leaving our site, let alone the comfort of their armchair.
